Dwight is a Structural Engineer and has been with Forell/Elsesser since 2006. With a background in architecture, he often uses sketching, visualization and other architectural trade tools to solve engineering problems. Dwight’s unique blend of engineering acumen and architect’s perspective make him an ideal design collaborator.
Dwight has provided engineering solutions for a variety of new designs and retrofits on various structures including institutional, educational, laboratory and healthcare facilities. His expertise also includes advanced computer modeling of buildings and steel detailing. He has served as Project Manager for projects ranging from museums and laboratories to tenant improvements. Dwight received both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from UC Berkeley.
During his free time, Dwight enjoys applying artistic applications to structural problems. He is also passionate about yoga and learning the Spanish language.
